ABS plastic sheet is a high-strength thermoplastic sheet produced primarily from acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer through extrusion or calendering processes. It combines the superior properties of its three constituent components—the heat and chemical resistance of acrylonitrile, the high elasticity and impact resistance of butadiene, and the ease of processing and surface gloss of styrene—earning it the reputation of being the "alloy of plastics."

Product Introduction

✔1. Exceptional Mechanical Properties: Exhibits extremely high impact resistance and flexural strength; it remains resistant to brittle fracture even in low-temperature environments, and possesses a hardness superior to that of pure polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE).

✔2. Good Heat Resistance: Suitable for continuous use within a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C. It features a high heat distortion temperature and can withstand temperatures exceeding 100°C for short durations.

✔3. Excellent Processability: Can undergo various mechanical processing operations-including sawing, drilling, milling, and planing-and is also well-suited for thermoforming (such as vacuum forming), bending, welding, and bonding.

✔4. Aesthetically Pleasing Surface Finish: Naturally appears milky white or beige with a smooth surface finish. It is compatible with surface treatments such as lamination, printing, electroplating, and painting. Additionally, it can be customized with specialized surface textures-such as matte, high-gloss, or leather-grain finishes-or engineered with functional properties, such as flame retardancy or anti-static capabilities.

✔5. Chemical Resistance: Stable when exposed to acids, alkalis, salts, oils, and most detergents; however, it is not resistant to ketones, esters, or aromatic solvents.
